General Rules

  • Release waiver and terms must be signed in Saddlebook.
  • W-9 for the current year must be completed before checks will be disbursed.
  • Horse and rider must run in order drawn or be disqualified.
  • All horses must be stalled, no portables or tie-ups.
  • NO REFUNDS on stalls or RV spots.
  • Exhibitions are 60 seconds or less. Time starts as horse leaves the alley, not at the timer line.
  • A knocked over barrel or broken pattern will result in a NO TIME.
  • Ground will be raked every 5 runners with a big drag every 50 during each race
  • In event of timer malfunction a rerun will be given if a penalty was not incurred.
  • Dress code required: hat or helmet, jeans, long sleeve shirts, boots.
  • $5 donation for lost hat in the arena (mandatory to get hat back).
  • A horse must not be run more than 1 time.
  • Riders will be given 3 minutes from the first call to begin their run. Announcer will announce remaining time as needed.
  • Vet or Sick Out- 70% of entry will be returned when vet/Dr. release is received after the draw is complete and posted. NO VET OUTS AFTER RACE HAS BEGUN.
  • Vet-outs or scratches will not be filled with late entries; however, we reserve the right to fill in the event of an error or as we deem necessary.
  • Averages are based on the fastest horse and rider combo from Saturday and Sunday.
  • No refunds of any kind after race has begun.
  • Refunds will be mailed out within 30 days after the race.
  • MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN SADDLES — NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE
  • Must have someone present to accept average awards. Average awards will NOT be mailed.
  • Payout checks will be mailed within two weeks after the race.
  • $100 service charge for all returned checks.
  • Credit card payments can be made with a 4% fee.
  • No entry is complete until paid in full.
  • All vendors providing products or services at the facility must be registered and paid as a vendor.
